When I did the photo shoot of the grandkids last year I asked that they bring over some bubble mixture as I thought that I might get some nice photos of them playing; being engrossed in doing something rather than posing for photos. And it worked. There are some fun shots with the bubbles! I really liked this one of Hunter reaching up to catch a bubble. The focus isn't great and should have been on his hand rather than on the bubbles, but I think the photo has a nice feel to it. He is totally absorbed in what he is doing. There's an air of innocence and joy in playing, of reaching out and the willingness of a child to explore and experience new things that life has to offer without fear.
Day 30. I've decided to use a photo from my archives for today's prompt, so technically it doesn't really fit the criteria of taking a photo every day, but I really couldn't go past this photo. Perhaps I'll try for a faceless portrait later today and if I do I will post it - just so I have done a photo every day :-) When I did the photo shoot of the grandkids last year I asked that they bring over some bubble mixture as I thought that I might get some nice photos of them playing; being engrossed in doing something rather than posing for photos. Thanks all :-) I'm trying to improve my skills, which is why I'm doing this project. Mainly working on composition and technique at the moment - so much to learn not enough hours to devote just to this :-)
