Back to the prompt. Today is my uni day and as I had a bit of spare time before I needed to leave to catch the train, I took advantage of the blue skies to take a variety of macro shots of anything green - all shapes and sizes and varieties of leaves. One can never be sure that it will still be sunny at the end of the day! While I was getting some close ups I happened across a very tiny spider and naturally took photos. Would you believe that I ended up being very close to missing the train - I think I got a tiny bit side tracked.
It wasn't until I got home and uploaded the photos that I saw that one of the shots of the spider was really not too bad. It seemed to be pretty much in focus and sharp. And I just loved the 4 eyes. I decided that was going to be my photo of the day. While it might not be green, I found it by looking for green. The only editing done to this was the use of the auto tone preset in Lightroom. It's a St Andrew's Cross Spider - Argiope Keyselingi. This one is a female and they are about 15mm.
My boy Zimi is completely fixated on balls. So while Bella and I got out of the rain, he stayed outside with his balls, just in case I thought of taking them off him. It was raining quite heavily at this stage.
I seem to be having some issues with uploading photos at the moment, so I'll put up the other really cool water ones tomorrow when I'm on the bigger computer, rather than the laptop (which I'm using now). Besides, it's almost 8:30pm and I'm ready to relax in front of TV and watch a bit of NCIS :-)
Night from Yatala.
