Today's prompt is 'two'. Well, really, the choices are unlimited! I've got of all sorts of things around the place that I could photograph. I guess too many choices is almost as bad as too little - I had no idea what I was going to photograph.
While I was having a coffee and wandering around sites on the iPad I noticed that there were two little birds (doves/pigeons??) that were sitting close together on the pool fence. They looked like they were a pair and I know a lot of birds do become pairs for life. They were just so gorgeous sitting there that I had to go and get the camera and telephoto lens, hoping all the time that they didn't move. Success. They were still there when I came back so the next question was how close was I going to be able to get to them before they flew away. Some stealthy sneaking and I got a few shots in. I think it was actually the noise of the shutter that attracted their attention and they finally flew off into the tree.
I got about 4 ok shots of them in focus before they left, which I then cropped and adjusted in Ligthroom. But this one was the one that really took my eye once I changed it to this colour. The birds seemed to really pop out of the photo. It is only a small crop as well. The preset is onOne Toners, Light Mocha with a onOne Vignette-5.
