I don't tend to carry very much in my bag as I don't like a heavy bag hanging over my shoulder for any length of time. Therefore I've cut it to the bare minimal - my wallet, iPhone, some loose change I found in an inside pocket, a pair of earrings in the same pocket (I wondered where they had gone to) and a pen (but no notebook). I sometimes carry my iPad to read on the train if I'm travelling, otherwise it stays at home. An altogether boring collection.
