I must admit this CY365 challenge has been really good to get me thinking and finding things that I had forgotten I had hidden away in cupboards for the past few years!
I had taken shots of some typical types of measuring things that I could spot in Steve's workshop but wasn't particularly motivated by any of them and was looking around for something to else that would fit the prompt. I remembered that I had this old set of scales tucked away. I'm not sure whether my dad used it for weighing coins when he was a publican, but I think it's a good age. I got it out and dusted off some cobwebs, but not all, as I think they emphasise its age. I would love to see if I could chase down the two missing weights.
I didn't have a lot of luck getting sharp, clear shots for some reason; perhaps the aperture was just a bit too wide. This was one of the few I was kind of happy with as I like the tonings, the subtlety of the background and the touch of bokeh.
Well, that's the end of the weekend. I do hope you all have a great week in front of you.
Take care and night for now.
