Today was one of those days when the prompt just wasn't working for me. So today (or tonight) you have a real life moment instead, but I could class it under Observation I suppose.
Observation: Do not drive the ride-on mower down the smallest of inclines when the ground is still damp. If you do, there is a chance that you will not be able to reverse the mower up the hill, as the back wheels cannot get any traction.
This is what I did this morning. You can see that there isn't much of an incline. As I was heading down I had a feeling it wasn't a good idea and tried to turn the wheel to head further down the hill, but the garden bed got in the way. I tried reversing, but nothing was happening with the back wheels - actually the left one wasn't gripping the ground at all. Hence I became stuck. Not being particularly strong (actually not at all strong) I had no hope of pushing or pulling the mower away from the garden bed, although I tried several times. Thank goodness I have a great next door neighbour who works from home and who came over and rescued me.
This is an iPhone photo that I sent to my hubby just after I got stuck. His response: "very cute picture". Not helpful Steve :-)
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend planned!
