My most favourite of all photos are candid shots that are unposed, spontaneous and natural. I love to try and capture the essence of the person in my photography and look forward to any opportunity to have my camera out and be clicking happily away. It's always so much fun to upload the photos onto the computer and see what I've captured. I'm sure the grandkids wouldn't recognise me without a camera around my neck, or more than likely pointing at them. The upside is that they are completely at ease with me taking photos of them and just go about doing what they're doing.
This shot is from the ones I took yesterday at our family get-together. I think Hunter was looking at his Saba (grandfather) coming towards him as he waited for him to go upstairs together. I love the intensity of his gaze, and the sense of anticipation in this shot; and I love those curls and gorgeous lips!
Well I think it's time for my curl up. Night all!
