Well six months down, six months to go. There have been times when I just haven't wanted to take a photo on the day, or wasn't particularly motivated by the prompt, but so far I have managed to keep going. I'm sure I'll make it to the end and it will be a lot of fun to look back on the year through photography.
So the prompt for yesterday was halfway and yes, I know, I'm late putting it up. I didn't really have any great ideas, although I'm sure if I tried a bit harder I could have come up with something. Or perhaps thought more about the alternative suggestions. However, I did take a photo yesterday - it just didn't have anything to do with the daily prompt. But, it was part of my day yesterday.
We had an electronic keypad installed onto our electric gate so that services can access the property if need be, when we're not home. As I've mentioned the weather hasn't been very nice of late and yesterday continued along the same lines of overcast, cold, windy and drizzling rain. I had to laugh and grab my iPhone when I saw that the young guy had cabled tied a large Bunnings umbrella to the gate so that he could work on the motor without getting saturated. So, while it isn't anything to do with the prompt it was a great sight, especially watching the umbrella going side to side as he tested the keypad.
