All packed and ready to go. We left Haute Nendaz and took the scenic route to Geneva, rather than travel along the motorway. This meant leaving Switzerland, going into France and then back into Switzerland. As we were early we had a very quick look (maybe 30 minutes) at the old city of Geneva, then we set off to find the drop off point for the car. We eventually found where we had to drop off the car. Switzerland is surrounded by France on three sides; we had to drop the car off on the French side. No problems. Then we were driven to the airport which was on the French side (not that we were told that). Up we go in the lift and we have no idea where we are - it appears to be the French domestic terminal. We kept on walking and eventually walked through the domestic arrivals ... in France that is. Next step was to go through French customs to go to the Switzerland side of the airport to actually check in for our international departure. Confused? So were we!
