Our ANZAC day was a relaxed one. We received a call from Mel asking if we were doing anything, and seeing that we had nothing planned, they came on over. I had just enough time to make a batch of ANZAC biscuits for morning tea before they arrived. The children had a good time playing, climbing trees, eating biscuits, and Hunter just loves spending time with the chickens. We also caught up with Bis Abuela (great grandmother) on Skype which was nice.
After they left Steve and I decided to go out for lunch, so we drove up to Mount Tamborine, had a rather large leisurely lunch and then did a bit of a drive around the Hinterlands on our way back home. A bit of a nap, a play with the dogs, did the daily photo and that's about it for today :-)
The prompt for today is spotlight. This just made me think of my dancing and performing days so I set up a lamp and put one of my dance statues into the light to try to recreate a sense of being on stage, in the spotlight.
No big dinner planned for tonight, I think we're still digesting lunch ...
