We woke to a stunningly beautiful day today - still cold mind you - but the sun was out and the wind had dropped. After a lovely walk and breakfast we headed off to Gordon, about 1.5 - 2 hours away, to visit Steve's niece, her husband and their children.
I took a heap of photos (no surprise there) and as usual tried to capture those unposed, spontaneous moments of the family. I haven't had time to really go through all the photos that I took, but I quickly looked through them to find one I liked for the prompt. This one caught my eye. I liked the way Esther is holding and looking at her brother, Caspar. I think there is gentleness and love in this shot.
Tomorrow we are off to visit Steve's other niece and husband and their little boy. More photos for me to take.
