I have been thinking about having a play around with food photography, another art form in its own right, and given the rather dreary day it seemed like the perfect opportunity to have some nice warm comfort food, as well as something to photograph.
Searching around for something I could make with the ingredients I had on hand, I came across a chocolate brownie recipe on the back of the Nestle baking cocoa tin. I didn't have any white chocolate chips laying around home, so I roasted some macadamia nuts and added them to the mix. I was also out of vanilla and substituted some cherry liqueur essence that I had (no idea why that was in my pantry!) Anyway they turned out yummy! We had a couple of slices and the rest have been delegated to the freezer for another time.
