I was out and about working around the yard today (again), moving the remaining vestiges of mulch mounds from where the bobcat had moved them ages ago. This was before the earthworks got started and we became busy doing all sorts of other things; spreading the mulch was low down on the list of priorities of things to do. It's taken me many hours over the past few days of scooping mulch into a large bucket to go into the wheelbarrow to go onto the new pile of mulch that was delivered last week. No idea how many loads of the wheelbarrow but needless to say I got a good workout and it was much more enjoyable than being inside doing housework ...
A lot of the new shrubs we planted earlier this year are starting to bloom in readiness for spring. This particular shrub, whose name I can't remember, is completely covered with small white flowers. They aren't this big in reality, as this was taken with the macro lens. Once again I took the photo to catch the lovely golden afternoon light. I must sometimes look quite strange smiling at flowers.

So Friday night - the end of the working week. Hope you all have a wonderful weekend in front of you, whatever you may be doing!
