An Apple A Day: Healthy | On The Ground | Just One
This was one of those prompts that didn't really tie in with the daily email, well at least it didn't for me. The email was about photographing pets and I wasn't too sure of the relevance of apples to pet photography. So seeing that there have been numerous photos of my pets on this blog, and on the CY365 gallery, I thought I would stay with the main theme of An Apple A Day.
What I wanted for this shot was to experiment with water running over an apple. I originally wanted to get a variation in effects from water slowly dripping onto the apple so that I could get a variety of shots by changing the shutter speed. Alas, I could not get my tap to drip, so it was a very slow stream of water that fell onto the apple. Not quite the effect I had in mind.
These are two of the shots I liked. All of the shots were taken with the macro lens and on a tripod. The tripod was to allow a slow shutter speed without getting any camera movement. Not sure which of these two I like though.
Night all.
