Routine | First Day | At Work
Although I am pretty much 'retired', I still do occasional work for the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine. Yesterday and today were two such days which I spent in the city sitting on an interview panel, with face-to-face interviews, as well as video-conferencing to different parts of the world. It does involve quite a lot of sitting, which I sometimes struggle with, so I made the most of any break to get outside and stretch a bit.
Yesterday afternoon I tried to get some shots of light trails (for another prompt) while waiting for my daughter. I had downloaded this slow motion app on the iPhone especially for the prompt and I wanted to try it out. Unfortunately it wasn't really dark enough to get good light trails, so I'll have to give that prompt a go another day. Today I just took a few shots around the building where we were working and processed them in Snapseed and Distressed FX. I really liked all the reflections in the glass of the buildings, interspersed with the lines of the trees - sort of surreal in a way. Perhaps with stronger cropping it would be difficult to determine which is the building, and which is 'reality'.
