It's been a few days since I've had the camera out and taken any photos. That often seems to be the case when Steve gets home from Mount Isa and we end up making the most of our time together to finish off our landscaping. Photos seem to come a bit further down the list of priorities at this point in time. I haven't even taken any progress photos lately so really must remedy this tomorrow. I guess there's also been time spent helping out our son and daughter-in-law with their move to their new home. Exciting times for them.
However, on the positive side, the landscaping is getting so close to being finished and we're really happy with how it's all turned out. Now to get to Canopy nursery on Monday to select a heap of plants for the new garden beds - and by myself so I can spend as much time as I want wandering around choosing. My favourite part of all of this - creating gardens.
So this is one of the noisy minor birds that always frequent the Robyn Gordon grevillea we have at the side of the house. They are quite shy birds and I never have had any luck getting my camera close to them as they fly away very quickly. Not so long ago we had the family over and I had cleaned all the windows (sometimes I need a really, really good reason to spend time cleaning windows when there are much more interesting and enjoyable things to be doing!). I spotted this little one through the window and because it was clean, for a change, was able to take a few photos. There's another photo I meant to put up which I'll upload tomorrow.
