Pretties | In The Garden | Decorative
Birds have featured many times in my blog but I still get a real joy from watching them come down to feed, and the antics they display - particularly across the different bird species. The lorikeets are so pushy and it never ceases to amaze me that the much larger sulphur crested cockatoos just fly away. The galahs, however, are a little more reluctant to move on, and will put up a fight for their position at the feeder.
This must be mating season as I've noticed quite a few pairs of birds around and have watched what appeared to be displays of 'mating' behaviour. Quite fun to observe. So pairs of birds is my take on Garden Lovelies.
This pair of Crested Pigeons (below) were grooming each other when I noticed them in the tree while having breakfast this morning. I went inside to get my camera, but when I got back they had moved on to grooming themselves. I waited quite awhile for them to go back to grooming each other but no luck.
Hope you all have a wonderful week ahead of you.
Each morning we are born again.
What we do today is what matters most.
