This prompt was basically looking at processing a photo in some sort of photography editing program and came with instructions on one way to manipulate colours. I decided to use a photo that I had taken previously rather than do a new one. However, I did take my daily photo - it just happened to be of my protein balls and it's on the food blog.
I took this photo of Hunter last year and thought it would be a nice one to play around with as his eyes are quite nicely in focus. Basically I used the saturation panel to firstly reduce all the colours and then selectively choose which areas to concentrate on, and how much saturation to apply to each. I've then reduced the clarity, added a small amount of grain, a small crop to remove an annoying bit of colour in the top corner, and then finally added the white vignette. Oh, I also increased the exposure just a little to really soften the photo.
