Self Discipline: Consistent | A Habit | Write
I invariably try to keep a diary of the things we do when we're on holidays, and I typically never succeed in writing in my journal/diary on a daily basis. Oftentimes I have to go back a day or two, or sometimes more, and play catch up. However, what I do consistently is take photos, and lots of them. Probably way too many and so they usually end up sitting on the computer, never making their way into a photo album. Maybe this time?
However, what I also endeavour to do while on holidays is take photos of the information panels provided at different sites, so that I know where the photo was taken and a little bit about the place.
The first photo gives a little information about the B&B in Cranbrook (see previous post), the second provides information on Lake Louise in the Banff National Park, Canada, while the next one is about Yellowstone Park and its Grand Canyon. In Seattle we visited the flight museum and this display talks about the use of aircraft in remote locations in Alaska - very reminiscent of the role the Royal Flying Doctor Service has played in rural and remote Australia.
