The Essentials: Necessary | Fundamental | A Must
One of those prompts that I had no real idea of what to take a photo of - I didn't want to do camera gear as and essential, although it is. I remembered I had bought some bits and pieces from Ikea to use for the little bit of food photography I was doing (hmm, that seems to have disappeared hasn't it?) so I thought I'd pull them out and take a 'creative' photo of them.
The plan was to arrange them artistically on the timber table with some nice afternoon light coming in and take several shots with different arrangements and different perspectives. However, lunch with my sister kind of lingered longer and so by the time I got home, played with the dogs, fed the chickens and did other things (raking out the rocks from the dirt that used to be grass) it was quite dark. I pulled them out nonetheless and kind of shoved them on the kitchen bench and tried to take photos while talking to Steve on the phone. Every now and then he couldn't hear me as I kept moving away to get a different angle. Ahhh the joys. I guess it's not quite a photo a day but has become at least doing the prompt whenever fits!
So basically all that means is that the photo is pretty ordinary, but it is done. (Border added in Perfect Effects 8)
