This is yet another recipe I came across on Pinterest, and it looked good, so I thought I'd give it a go. It was actually quite easy and came together well, not like some patties that I've tried that don't use eggs as a binder. The other bonus with this recipe is that they aren't deep fried - a falafel without being deep fried! The recipe comes from Devine, Healthy Food (all vegan) and the page has wonderful step-by-step photos of the whole process.
I didn't have any flaxseed meal (seriously do people have flaxseed meal on hand?) but I did have some almond meal and according to a post I found doing a google search I could use it as a substitute. It must have been correct as they turned out just fine. I also didn't have Himalayan salt, and as I rarely add salt to anything I cook, I didn't worry about salt.
